+12 MONTH EXTENDED WARRANTY CONDITIONS

1. What is the Extended Warranty?

The "+12 Month Extended Warranty" is an additional commercial warranty offered by Claudio Utensili that allows you to extend the coverage by an additional 12 months for eligible products purchased in the same order.

For purchases made by a consumer under the Consumer Code, the additional 12 months apply after the 24 months of statutory conformity warranty, allowing for up to 36 months of total coverage from the product delivery date.

The Extended Warranty is additional and does not replace, limit, or modify in any way the rights freely granted to the consumer by the statutory conformity warranty.

3. How to purchase the Extension

The Extended Warranty can only be purchased concurrently with the order containing the products you wish to cover.

It is not possible to purchase the Extension later through a second order, even if the product to be warranted was previously purchased from Claudio Utensili.

The Extension must therefore be included in the same order as the products it is associated with.

4. Covered products

Unless otherwise expressly stated in the product description or in these conditions, the Extension applies to all eligible products included in the same order in which it is purchased.

It is not necessary to purchase a single extension for each product: a single Extended Warranty purchased with the order extends the coverage of all eligible products contained in the same order.

The Extension cannot be used for products purchased with previous or subsequent orders.

5. Duration and commencement

Coverage begins from the date of delivery of the goods.

For the consumer:

the first 24 months remain covered by the statutory conformity warranty provided by applicable law;
the commercial Extended Warranty applies for an additional 12 months;
coverage can therefore extend up to the 36th month from delivery.

If products belonging to the same order are delivered on different dates, the coverage period for each product begins from its respective delivery date.

6. What the additional 12 months cover

During the extension period, faults and malfunctions not attributable to the customer, which manifest during normal use of the product and are related to the product itself, are covered.

Each request is subject to a technical verification to determine the nature of the problem and its effective coverage.

If the problem falls within the conditions of the Extension, Claudio Utensili will, depending on the nature of the fault and technical feasibility, repair the product or replace the affected component or product.

In case of replacement, if the same item is no longer available, an equivalent or comparable solution may be offered.

7. Express Assistance

The purchase of the Extended Warranty also grants access to the Claudio Utensili Express Assistance service.

Requests related to orders covered by the Extension are identified as priority and receive preferential handling compared to normal assistance requests.

Express Assistance refers to priority in handling the case and does not guarantee a maximum time for repair, replacement, or completion of the intervention, as such times may depend on the nature of the problem, availability of spare parts, the manufacturer, and any necessary technical verifications.

The Express Assistance service is available from the delivery of the covered products and for the entire validity period of the coverage.

8. What the Extension DOES NOT cover

The Extended Warranty does not cover faults or damage resulting, directly or indirectly, from customer behavior or circumstances attributable to the customer, or from non-compliant use of the product.

Therefore, the following are excluded, by way of example:

falls, impacts, crushing, or accidents;
breakages caused by the customer or third parties;
improper, abnormal, or use other than that intended by the manufacturer;
use beyond the technical or capacity limits indicated by the manufacturer;
failure to follow usage, installation, or safety instructions;
negligence or failure to perform manufacturer-prescribed maintenance;
tampering, modifications, or alterations of the product;
interventions, repairs, or modifications carried out by unauthorized personnel;
use of incompatible accessories, spare parts, power supplies, batteries, or components when these have caused the fault;
damage caused by water, liquids, fire, overvoltages, atmospheric agents, or other external events not attributable to a product defect;
theft, loss, or disappearance of the product;
solely aesthetic damage that does not compromise normal operation;
normal wear and tear resulting from product use;
materials and components subject to natural consumption, when the problem is attributable to normal wear and tear and not to a product defect.

Exclusion from this commercial warranty does not limit any rights that the consumer may still have based on the statutory conformity warranty provided by applicable law.

9. Product verification

Claudio Utensili reserves the right to request a technical verification of the product before acknowledging the warranty intervention.

If the verification reveals that the problem is covered by the Extended Warranty, the case will be managed according to these conditions.

If, on the other hand, it is ascertained that the damage results from one of the excluded causes, the customer will be informed before the execution of any paid interventions.

No paid repair will be carried out without the customer's prior acceptance.

10. How to request assistance

To request assistance, it is necessary to contact Claudio Utensili through the channels indicated on the website, providing:

order number;
name of the order holder;
affected product;
any serial number;
detailed description of the problem;
when requested, photographs or videos useful for identifying the defect.

After an initial verification, customer service will communicate to the customer how to proceed.

The product must not be shipped independently without first receiving instructions from Claudio Utensili.

11. Proof of purchase

To benefit from the Extension, the affected product must belong to the same order with which the Extended Warranty was purchased.

The order confirmation, invoice, or other documentation present in Claudio Utensili's systems constitutes proof of purchase and its respective coverage.

12. Consumer's statutory warranty

The +12 Month Extended Warranty is an additional commercial warranty.

By law, the consumer has, free of charge, the remedies provided for defects of conformity against the seller.

These rights are not prejudiced, limited, or replaced by the purchase of this Extension.

During the period provided by the statutory warranty, the consumer therefore retains all rights and remedies provided by applicable law, regardless of the purchase of the Extension.

13. Right of withdrawal

For online purchases, the consumer's rights of withdrawal, if any, under the Consumer Code and as provided by Claudio Utensili's General Terms and Conditions of Sale remain valid.

If the right of withdrawal is validly exercised on the entire order and all covered products are returned, the Extended Warranty linked to the order also ceases in accordance with the procedures provided by law and the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

14. Final conditions

The Extended Warranty is valid exclusively for the products and for the order to which it is associated.

These conditions must be read together with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the information regarding the statutory warranty published on the Claudio Utensili website.

In case of conflict, no provision of this commercial warranty may be interpreted in a way that limits the mandatory rights recognized to the consumer by law.
